By Even though I have been flying for a few years now, I must admit that the idea of flying the drone over water has intimidate me, (that and flying over forests that potentially have snakes in them). Up until today I have rarely ventured out more and maybe 50 feet or so. Today I decided to bite the bullet and go for it.
Now I do have both personal property insurance and liability insurance with “hull” coverage, and yes I was influenced by that fact.
Today’s flight was with my Mavic 2 Pro. Unfortunately I was so consumed by the thought of being out there over Lake Houston that I didn’t bother to adjust my camera settings and the filter I used was way too dark so the video is kind of crappy.
Tomorrow I think I will try again and maybe even with my Typhoon H Pro?
